Taygra dance shoes are made in Brazil from 100 percent recyclable and/or recycled materials. The outer fabric of the shoes is made with a combination of nylon and vegan leather, while the sole is made of recycled PVC.

The lightweight materials allow your feet to bend and turn with minimal restriction while dancing.
The black upper materials are chosen for their lightweight qualities, allowing you to flex and bend with minimal restriction. The snug, sock-like fit of our lightweight training shoe provides maximum comfort, agility, and improved performances. The shoes are machine-washable (cold water) and you can wear them indoors, outdoors, barefoot or with socks.
The recyclable PVC sole generates very little friction and offers the perfect balance between slip to spin and grip control and durability. You will never go through those soles, even if you walk outside with your Taygra Dance Shoes all year long.

I have been seeing more and more dancers wear the Corrida model, so I ordered one for Zouk dancing, and especially at Festivals.
They are light, comfortable and convenient – no need to change shoes going in and out of workshops, going to a restaurant, dancing at the pool parties…
The sole works well, except on carpet – the squares grip too strong into it.
However: the quality is far from what the price suggests. You can see on the pictures, that the white squares are not painted precisely, the sole is glued to the fabric, seems under the laces are not neat, too much unnecessary fabric around the tongue inside the shoe, which makes it fold around when you put them on, and the tongue moves to the side while you are dancing – I’ll have to sew it on one side to prevent that.
I was told by several dancers, that they cost $30 in Brazil – this would be a fair price for the quality. Comparing G Franco’s dance flats at $55, which are made so well, Corrida’s are seriously overpriced.
I would give the shoes 5 stars, if they were not overprices, or if the quality would match the price.

Nice pair of dance sneakers, turns great on the dance floor, even on floors that aren’t perfectly smooth. It does seem a bit pricey but I still recommend the shoes for dance.
